We went to kindergarten, primary school and high school together, and now Stroudy runs his own Chiropractic Clinic – Trident Manual Therapy – in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Even though I’ve been in business since 2013, I’ve always worked from home and it just seems crazy and so grown-up to me to see people I went to school with running their own bricks and mortar businesses. Who would have thought when we were both sitting in Mr Wall’s business studies class 11 years ago we’d each be here now running real businesses? Certainly not me!
While I haven’t been a patient of Stroudy’s, I have it on good authority from my sister that he is excellent at what he does, which isn’t surprising at all. He’s always been an elite sportsman so it makes total sense that Chiro has become his profession, and he has the discipline and commitment to really excel. Shelley (my sister) started seeing him at his clinic a few months back with bad back pain, and while their sessions haven’t finished just yet she told me the other day since seeing David in clinic she’s now almost pain-free. Amazing!
Stroudy and I met at McKillop Park in Freshwater a few weeks ago for his portraits, and while he’d mentioned he was a little nervous beforehand, it really didn’t show. He was a natural in front of the camera and really easy-going; In a short space of time we managed to come away with some great portraits.
Check out some of my favourites from the session below, and if you’re on the Northern Beaches (or elsewhere in Sydney) and in need of a fantastic Chiropractor, book in a session with David Stroud at Trident Manual Therapy.
Don’t you think he’s a natural?
