It’s been a while since I hit the blog and I wanted to share these portraits from my December session with my beautiful friend Kamina Polivnick with you!
Kamina is a Life Coach, Reiki healer and yoga teacher and also happens to be a dear friend of mine. We first met back in Sydney around 2014, and about a year after Will and I moved to London, Kamina and her now-hubby Warren did too. It’s been amazing having her here (and in fact, for the last year we’ve literally lived in the same square, which is great for mid-week work-hangs!).
Since living in London, Kamina’s practiced her yoga teaching, trained as a Reiki healer and is getting ready to start her business when she moves home to Australia this March (waaaa!) and I’ve loved watching her blossom and grow in this area as she gradually moves away from her career in marketing.
Kam wanted portraits to use on her website when it launches, so she can establish a professional presence and build trust with potential clients from the outset.
As a person, Kamina is incredibly warm, friendly and interested in people. She’s an Autumn personality, and has an amazing sense of style. We worked to create portraits that were relaxed and inviting, and conveyed her calming and uplifting energy. Due to the ample natural light in her flat and given she’d be soon home in Australia, we agreed a relaxed home-based session would be the best fit for her portraits so they weren’t too country-specific.
I’m so excited to see Kamina’s business grow after seeing her invest so much into her professional skills these past few years and am thrilled to have been a part of creating her brand. She’s one to watch!
Here’s a handful of my favourite portraits from Kamina’s session for you to browse through and enjoy!
