Baby Rylan: Northern Beaches Newborn Photographer

Little baby Rylan and mum Mikaela came to my home studio for newborn portraits and we had such a beautiful morning! I loved getting to know Mikaela, who’s lived on the Northern Beaches for a few years but is originally from Tweed Heads, up north. Mikaela and her husband James moved to the area when Mikaela, who’s a teacher (and actually teaches at a school that one of my good friends taught at – same subject too!), secured a permanent position at a Northern Beaches school.

Rylan is 3.5 weeks old and was just precious to photograph and so, so good. After a little feed, he had a short sleep on mum’s chest, then woke up for a bit while we took some ‘awake’ photos, then fell back to sleep at the end. It’s a tough gig being a baby, I tell you!

Special shout out goes to Sarah Lim of That Makeup Girl for her beautiful hair and makeup artistry on gorgeous Mikaela, she created such a beautiful and natural look!
